L GS Security Authentication Mark

1. GS logo is a safety certification mark issued by TUV, VDE, ITS, SGS, KEMA, ITS, NEMKO, DEMKO and other institutions authorized by the German Ministry of Labor.

GS logo is a safety logo accepted by European customers. Generally, GS certified products sell at higher unit prices and are more popular.

2. GS Certification Requirements for Products and Documents:

- The product must pass the type test of the European safety standard.

- The product structure should conform to the standard requirements.

- Instructions (German, English) should meet the criteria.

English documents such as Structural Diagram, Circuit Diagram and Parts List prepared according to TUV requirements will be tested according to the parameters provided in these documents.

3. GS certification has strict requirements on the factory quality assurance system. The factory should be examined and annually inspected.

- Require factories to establish their own quality assurance system according to ISO9000 system standards when delivering goods in batches. At least the factory should have its own quality control system, quality records and other documents and adequate production and inspection capabilities.

Before issuing the GS certificate, the new factory should be examined and qualified before issuing the GS certificate.

After issuing the certificate, the factory should be reviewed at least once a year. No matter how many TUV markings are applied for by the factory, only one factory review is needed.

4) Sample testing: The testing will be conducted in accordance with applicable standards and can be carried out in the manufacturer's laboratory or in any laboratory of an inspection institution stationed in a country.

The relationship between L GS and CE

EC CE regulation, 1997.1.1. Start-up control "Low Voltage Directive (LVD)" GS has included all requirements of "Low Voltage Directive (LVD)". Therefore, after obtaining the GS logo, TUV will issue the CE certificate (COC) of LVD, TUV South Deutsche Group and TUV Rheinland's certificate after 1997, which includes the LVD Certificate in the GS certificate. The manufacturer applied for GS and obtained the LVD certificate at the same time.
